van wyk journeys Our stay here in Puerto Vallarta coincided with Halloween and Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead annual celebrations. In the evening, we took a walk along the streets and along part of the El Malecón to Old Town center. The streets and the Malecón were packed with families and tourists alike with children trick or treating along the way.
Children swarmed tourists who were handing out candy quickly depleting their supplies.
